Funny how life works—if you’d told me years ago that my path would include a full military career, time in city government and the private sector, a chapter as a professional photographer, and a blend of motivational speaking, life coaching, and personal development work… I might’ve raised an eyebrow. But all of it, somehow, led me right here—to fully embracing a gift I’ve carried for a long time: offering spiritual guidance and channeled insight to help others find clarity, healing, and transformation.
Since childhood, I've had a natural sensitivity to the unseen: angels, spirit guides, synchronicities, and that quiet inner knowing most people call intuition. As a (sometimes) medium, I’ve had deceased relatives jump in the backseat of my car and pass along info to me. For decades, I kept these gifts tucked away beneath a conventional life and military career. Eventually, life stopped asking politely and made it clear—it was time to step fully into who I am. Now, as both an intuitive reader and host of the Finding Focus podcast, I help others do the same: honor both the logical and mystical parts of themselves, and create lives that feel true
I had an incredible military career. Just to clarify—I wasn’t a pilot, but as an intelligence officer, my role was to work closely with pilots and specialize in air and air defense operations. One unforgettable highlight: I had the chance to fly in an F-16 fighter jet. It was, without a doubt, one of the most thrilling experiences of my life.
A few other fun facts about me, in no particular order:
I’m also what you might call a fairway philosopher. As a seasoned golfer, I've learned that the lessons on the course—how to stay present when everything's going sideways, trust your swing when you can't see where the ball will land, recover from a bad shot without spiraling—are the same lessons that show up in spiritual growth and life transitions. In my work, I blend that fairway wisdom with divine guidance. Sometimes the best spiritual advice sounds less like mysticism and more like: keep your head down, trust the process, and remember that even the pros hit into the rough.
I grew up on a farm in the Sunflower State, joined the military (much to my parents’ dismay), and once checked “run a marathon” off my bucket list by finishing the Honolulu Marathon. I’ve been a background actor on Lost, Hawaii 5-O, and Magnum PI, delivered hundreds of motivational talks, and once owned—and proudly rode—a Harley Davidson. I play competitive golf, have spent the night in a very haunted hotel, and even ran for political office. (I didn’t win—but it turned out to be one of life’s most beautiful redirections.)
