Honor Who You Are
A reminder from the universe to STOP PLAYING SMALL and HONOR WHO YOU ARE.
A few days ago I decided I wanted to change my license tag frame to honor the fact I'm a military veteran. (I served and retired from the U.S. Air Force.) But I debated over whether to get one that said "VETERAN" or one that said, "WOMAN VETERAN." My small-side thinking said, "don't be overly boastful." But dang it, that's who I am. So I got it. And put it on my car yesterday.
Today I needed to make a quick pick-up at the mall. I circled the lot for about five minutes trying to find a spot. The place was crazy-busy. Then I spied an open space close to the entrance, a front-row spot, but it had a reserved sign. I initially passed right by it because I never park in those since I don't have any special access needs, I'm not a pregnant mom (heaven forbid at my age!), nor am I any sort of VIP.
But I took a closer look at the sign: SUPERHERO PARKING. I thought, "How cool is that!" Then I noticed who was defined as a superhero. And then I remembered I had my new license plate holder on my car.
Feeling honored.
Sometimes the universe has to slap you to remind you to step into your power.
My message to the rest of you. Stop playing small. Honor who you are and the universe responds. BAM!
How are YOU stepping into your power?
