Step Into Your Superpower

The past two weeks have probably been the most energizing of my life. I'll explain more later, but I'm fully stepping into my superpower now and I want you to share in this energy and claim it for your own! I truly want you to feel recharged and re-energized, so read on and join in my energy field!

It started around Halloween. I dressed up as Supergirl to go to a morning business meeting. I was self-conscious, but I was only planning to go to the meeting then go home (I work from home). But I wound up having lunch with a friend after the meeting, then went to Starbucks with another friend after lunch. Loved the fact that Starbucks put "Supergirl" on my cup and called my order with that name. By that point I was over feeling self-conscious in my costume and decided to do errands around town, to include getting a manicure. (The ladies in the shop thought it was cute seeing Supergirl getting her nails done.)

Truth is, it was rather empowering to run around as Supergirl and I was getting fun comments and thumbs up. Energy was flowing. And as a bonus, I got a call from a casting agency saying they wanted me to be in an episode of Hawaii 5-0.

I had just learned to get out of my own way and let the universe start working its magic.

Fast forward a few days. I've been contemplating a HUGE decision and opportunity. It's all good and would require me to really step into my power.

As if to give me signs from the universe, the guest speaker at a luncheon I was attending spoke about her rise from an entry-level position at her company to being the first female President and CEO of the 73 year-old organization. She said she initially didn't want the position because it didn't sound like any fun, but was convinced when someone said to her:

"The higher you go, the more ability you have to impact others. And then it becomes your responsibility to help others have more fun in their lives."

That same evening, I attended an event where the guest of honor was the first female national commander of AMVETS, a 70-year old organization. Her words that evening:

"We need leaders who will speak up for our veterans. We need good people in positions of leadership."

The next day I was speaking with a retired politician and dear friend. He said, "We need good people in positions of leadership. Don't let the negative people stop you. That's their issues, not yours. Don't become a "shoulda, coulda."

And a few minutes later someone on my Facebook feed posted, "We can accomplish more. We can impact more people. Our potential is bigger than our fears."

So I'm here to encourage all of you to step into your superpower, change your life, and make a difference in the lives of others.

And if you're not sure what your superpower is, then get on the phone with me and let's chat! This is what I do, one of my superpowers is helping others find their power.
