Define Who You Are

If you had to define who you are, could you do it?

Here's the catch--don't define yourself by any title that you hold, by the work that you currently do, or by the roles that you fulfill. Most of these are only temporary--even if you hold them for a number of years. When the titles or roles go away, people tend to lose their identity and their energy. So let's look beyond these.

Get quiet and think deeper, feel who you are, go to your core, go into your heart and examine the truth of who you are.

It's okay to acknowledge who you are not.

Ask yourself, "Who am I?" Whatever thought or image comes to you, whatever answers are whispered to you, whatever calls to you--write that down. This is the good stuff that's waiting for you to acknowledge it. Finding out who you really are is a key step in finding and tapping into the energy that fuels you. You may be surprised by the answers or you'll find that they're very familiar and make sense.
