Shielding Yourself From Negative Energy
I've recently had several people reach out to me about how to shield themselves against negative energy. I'm going to talk more about this in a future post, but here's one quick way I learned from one of my motivational mentors:
When you're feeling attacked or going into a stressful situation, or feeling overwhelmed with negativity from outside forces or your own negative thoughts--take a moment and imagine yourself being surrounded by white light and/or uplifting water. (A good visualization is the fountains at the Bellagio in Las Vegas without all the noise.) Get quiet and imagine yourself in the center of uplifting energy. Let your hands hang down at your sides or in front of you and hold your palms outward or upward. Close your eyes and feel yourself being protected with warmth and positive energy. Let the feeling move through you. Breathe it in. Feel the light. Let the essence of calm and protective energy fill your entire being.
