Be Bold!
I haven't visited this blog in a long while. To put it mildly, I've been a little busy. On April 14th, 2015 I was diagnosed with uterine cancer. On May 14th, 2015 I was declared cancer free. I can't tell you what an experience that was to receive a devastating diagnosis, quickly undergo major surgery, and then receive a "you're cancer-free" statement from the doctor--all in the span of four weeks. Not everyone is so lucky, but I can tell you that the emotions are gut-wrenching.
So now that I have this new appreciation of life and learning, I've decided to live my life more boldy. No more scaredy-cat existence for me. That doesn't mean I'm going to be bungee jumping anytime soon, but I am going to live life differently.
