It's Okay to Start Over
Research shows that in an average lifetime, people are going to start over 3-5 times. In between these major change-of-life periods, there are smaller transitions that occur every 12-18 months. Sometimes we choose to make a change, sometimes the changes are forced upon us. Most people aren’t prepared to make these changes and the result is stress, anxiety, staying in limbo, depression, wasted time and effort, relationship issues, health concerns, and financial loss. And the older we get, the less time we have to make the adjustments and get moving again. This is why it’s important to be better aligned and better equipped for each transition in order to get going more quickly and on the right track.
Those of you who've known me for more than a few years know that I’ve started over and successfully reinvented myself after multiple major life events (stress that nearly killed me, death of a spouse, cancer, job changes, etc.). Each change has been a chance to level up, try new opportunities, learn new things, and be more authentically me. I’m in a great new chapter now and I’m using my experience and professional training and mentorship to help others find new focus, recharge their careers, reenergize their lives, and successfully start over.
This pandemic has caused many of us to re-look at our lives. Despite the upset it’s caused, it’s been the perfect opportunity for a deep re-set and to learn lessons on how to handle changes and challenges.
If you or anyone you know is facing a new stage of life, is possibly stuck and stagnant, and is interested in finding their next chapter or successfully start over, send me a message and we can have a quick chat.
Cheering for you!
